User can group clashes effectively with the Clash Manager Extension. When clashes are grouped in the extension window they can be updated into the Navisworks Clash Detective user interface.  You can same way ungroup them and group again by other criteria

 

 

 

Here all the clashes are ungrouped in the Navisworks Clash Detective. They are also displayed same way in the Clash Manager Extension window.

 

 

 

Drag and Drop Columns

 To group clashes based on clash test information, you can drag and drop desired column into the grouping area. In this example clashes are grouped based on Level 

 

 

 

 

 

 If we want to group clashes with multiple hierachy levels, then just drag and drop other columns into the grouping area

 

 

  

Update Grouping

When grouping is created in the Clash Manager Extension, it can be updated into the Navisworks Clash Detective with Update Grouping button

 

 

After that clashes are grouped same way also in the Navisworks Clash Detective window.

 

 

 

Group Clashes based on Properties

 Clashes can also be grouped based on properties of the model items that are clashing each other. You can add these fields into the grouping area by double mouse click them in the listboxes. They will also create unbound columns into the DataGrid.

 

 

 

If properties window is hidden you can toggle it to visible by mouse click the Expand button

 

 

 

Ungroup Clashes

 You can ungroup all clashes with Ungroup All button and update them again into the Clash Detective with Update Grouping button and so on.

 

 

 

Clear Unbounded Columns

 You can clear unbound columns (properties) from the DataGrid with Clear Unbound Columns button
